B.A.A.D. (Blaize'n Awareness Against Drugs) is a community of people dedicated to offering support, insights, resources and real action that helps families maintain and restore relationships threatened by drug use. It's a shared responsibility to to strengthen bonds letting families and kids know that someone cares. No matter who you are or where you're from, you're never alone.

Our Mission

PREHAB BEFORE REHAB - Preventing addiction & saving lives.

OUR VISION

Blaize'n Awareness Against Drugs was born out of tragedy turned to purpose. A tragedy shared by parents, loved ones and friends all over this country. B.A.A.D. is committed to turning tears of sorrow and loss from drug addiction into living stories of exploration, discovery, hope and success by helping kids and families fight against the terror of drug use and drug addiction. Created by Jennifer Tolson, a mother in Richmond, Virginia who experienced the loss of a son to drugs — B.A.A.D. is committed to the idea that no other parent should have the experience of losing a child to drugs.  The emptiness can be filled and the lives can be saved and reinvigorated. Every child is valuable, and life — living is the currency of success. B.A.A.D seeks to enrich every child with that currency and the foundation for a brighter future. Our goal is to create communities where no parent loses a child to drugs.

People often say to me, “You’re so strong”, but I’m really not. God is strong and it’s through God that I get out to do what I do. I could hide in bed with the covers over my head, but God’s will must be done. I will be obedient to His will. We all have to come together.
— Jennifer Tolson, founder
